Where has Time gone?

WOW - you are growing up. I remember when I'd carry you around on my hip. I remember giving you baths and swinging you around in the yard. I remember pushing you around in the cart at Wal-mart. You used to call me Jen-Jen. When your brother & I first meet, you were still in your mommy's tummy. I remember the day you told me you wanted to play football. I signed you up that day - your Bubba was the coach. You are loved, Justin - I'm so proud to be your sister-in-law. You are one funny, smart, and loving guy! I have so many memories, and my life is better because you are in it.

What Makes You Happy?

I bought these Levi's in 2003.

I love them.

They fit me just fine.

They are my comfort jeans.

They are relaxed, and worn.

They are ripped and torn.

They are faded and stained.

They are my favorite jeans.

They are what makes me happy.

~Take time to look around and see what makes you happy today.~

Kim & Josh

My sweet cousin, Kim was married last night. The wedding was simply stunning. My mom cried the whole time, happy for Kim, but wishing Darlene (Mom's cousin & Kim's biological mom) was there to see it.

Kim was so beautiful, as always, and her new husband, very handsome. Everyone had a wonderful time.

I can't tell you how many people gave me a double take. They all think that me & Kim look so much alike. It was funny watching people look & tell me that I look just like her. I totally took that as a compliment, for I think Kim is simply beautiful.

Now, Kim & Josh along with close family are heading to the Carribbean (sp?)!

Have fun, be safe, & Congrats to you both! Love ya, bunches -

9/11

When Frank was in Iraq I made a special album for him using the photos that he would send me. This page is the cover-page for his Iraq Album.

Journaling reads:My courageous hero, My forever friend, My loving husband...I love you. It's as simple as that. I miss you. That's more complicated. I miss the feel of your fingers between mine and the joyful presence of your heart. I am so honored to be your wife. You are an amazing soldier and my heart swells with pride. There are times when I feel so alone, times I feel proud, and times I feel afraid. I pray for your safe and speedy return and that the Lord will protect you with His army of angels. God Speed.

Deputy Paul Dugle - our friend.

Please Pray for our friend, Paul and his family, as well as the Shelby Co. Sheriff's dept.

A Shelby County Sheriff's deputy is in critical condition after his cruiser was hit by a train. Deputy Paul Dugle was leaving a training facility off Kings Highway in Shelby County. The wreck happened just after 10:30 Friday morning as Deputy Dugle was leaving a training facility.
It's devastated this close-knit sheriff's department. Mike Armstrong, the Shelby Co. Sheriff, told Fox 41, "I would ask that anybody out there who may have a prayer, a prayer could go a long way."
The train struck the deputy's car on the passenger side. It continued on for a while before it could stop.
Another Shelby County deputy who is also a paramedic was among those who helped get Dugle out of the cruiser. He was taken to the Flying J Truck Stop off Highway 395 in Shelby County. Stat Flight was called and took Dugle to University Hospital.
Shelby County deputies and detectives went to the hospital, to be sure to hear the latest word on their colleague. Kentucky State Police and the Shelbyville Police Department are covering for them. Sheriff Armstrong says, "I just know right now everybody's thoughts are for our comrade and we're hoping that everything's fine."
Dugle is 38 years old, married, and has been with the Shelby County Sheriff's Department for about six years. Meanwhile, Kentucky State Police have spent the afternoon at the crash scene investigating. The Northfolk Southern railroad crossing is marked, but does not have flashing lights or crossing gates.
