Happy Monday!

~~~ Weekend Update! ~~~
On Saturday - my friend, Shawn, and I went to our local farmer's market and got some yummy veggies and homemade bread. We've been wanting to visit the market for awhile now but just never had a chance to. It was very small - like maybe 10 booths, but it was fun anyway! Shawn got some beautiful wildflowers to put on her kitchen table.
My friend, Stephanie, married a sweet man named John at 2:30 on Saturday. The wedding was georgeous and she was so beautiful! Her dress was solid batten burg lace and she just sparkled!!! Frank was an usher, and was very honored to be able to light the candelabra. They had a small reception at our church afterwards and then off to Gatlinburg, TN for their honeymoon!
Frank & I went to Cracker Barrell to eat afterward. I got a yummy Yankee Candle -
On Sunday - On my way to church, my truck uncontrollably stopped at Coffee on Main Street and so I orded myself a White Mocha Iced Drink!
Frank had a skit in Powerhouse and it was super funny!
My friends (Shawn & Lisa) and I went to The Scrapbook Cottage in Louisville for shopping and just a girl's day out! Actually, the owner is Theala - Shawn's mom! We had a blast....the store is super cute! Then more shopping at Barnes & Noble...this is a must have book. I got 2 of them - one for Frank and one for his friend.
When I got home, I made peanut-butter no-bake cookies to bring in to work! Everyone liked them....as well as myself! I love those things!
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
Summertime Busy-ness
WOW - Isn't summertime supposed to be relaxing, fun, enjoyable, vacations, and just FUN?
I'm swamped at work and at home! I have not cleaned my house in 3 weeks! YIKES!!! DH did the laundry yesterday for me - which was a burden lifted.
This is what I've been doing this month....
*organizing a wedding shower that is TONIGHT.
*summer company picnic - a total waste of time.
*bowling with co-workers for charity - super fun!
*helping a friend with a Sweet 16 for her daughter - too fun!!!
*hosted an all day crop where we had a BLAST!
*had to go to a secret pal luncheon - made spinach dip
*started water aerobics and jogging again
*have a wedding to go to next weekend
*met my mom & her new husband for dinner
*went to the movies and seen YOU, ME, & Dupree! - so cute - must see it!
*working at my local scrapbook place/store
*backing-up my co-worker that is vacationing in California!
*trying to get layouts together for AUG deadline.
Shew!!!! Is summer over yet?!?
WOW! I didn't realize how long it's been since I've posted!
Things are going great here, but so very busy.
I'm staying busy at work, planning a wedding shower, organizing a crop, running again, made spinach dip for the first time (yummy), going bowling, going to the movies tomorrow night to see Me, You & Dupree, and planning vacations! Yes, I said vacationS!
Me and some girlies are going to The Scrapbook Cottage in September. It's a quaint scrapbook bed & breakfast in Indiana...then me and Frank are heading to my favorite place - THE OUTER BANKS, NC! We are going in October - for our anniversary! I'm super excited about this.
Shew! Summer is supposed to be for relaxing by the pool, not running around like crazy!
I hope you all are having a wonderful, relaxing, lazy summer - before we know it the kiddos will be back in school! AHHHH!!!!
Fourth of July Weekend
For the 4th of July, Frank and I went to the lake with our family to watch fireworks, cook-out, swim, have ice-cream, and do all the things that say SUMMER IS HERE! We had a wonderful time! I'm sunburned and peeling for the first time since hight school...very yucky for me. And very suprising since I had 45 sunblock, and umbrella and a hat!
