A Good Thing...

Yummy.
Delicious.
Decadent.
Scrumptous.

Me & my good friend, Karen, went shopping at Bath & Body Works and came home with this. We could not resist the Temptation.

What makes you happy today?

This makes me happy today.

Remembering St.Augustine, FL.

No smile, no styled hair, no makeup. Just me.

I can still feel the rickety fence in my hands and the soft, white sand at my feet. The salt on my lips and the breeze kissing my cheek.

Just me. Relaxing. Pondering. Remembering.

Saturday FUN!

Today after football practice we took some of our CUBS to see the inspiring story of former Philidelphia Eagles player, Vince Papale. What an amazing story.

The kids had fun and really enjoyed the movie.

And after all...that's what it's all about.

We are inspired everyday by ordinary people, just look around.

Happy Birthday Justin!

Today is Justin Jeffcoat's 15th Birthday!

WOW!

Justin is Frank's brother and my brother-in-law. I love to say that. I've know Justin since he was in his mommy's belly. Yep, when Frank & I met, his mom was pregnant with Justin. Usually when we go places together they think that Justin is our child. I love it when Justin says "She's my sister-in-law." I love that kid. He is such a funny guy. He loves to be goofy and make people laugh. He loves football and plays on his middle school team.

Last night we took him & his friend, Josh, out shopping in the mall. Justin got a new pair of shoes and a football. Then we went to TGI Friday's for dinner. We had a great time, just hanging out. Talking about life, girls, school, and football.

We love you Justin and we are so super proud of the young man you are becoming!

Happy 15th Birthday, Justin!

Just being bored...

Ok, I really don't have anything to write about, I'm just bored, so I thought I'd share with you a few of my favorite things in my purse.

Of course you can see my wallet, super cute ribbon on it. I picked it up at Cracker Barrel.
A girl can't go anywhere without her lip gloss. The pink tube is C.O.Bigelow Cinnamint Lip Shine from Bath & Body Works.
And that is Fresh Vanilla Body Cream from Bath & Body Works. (love that place!)
A small hair clip to keep the fly-aways tamed.
Bubblemint Orbitz gum - my very favorite.
My pink, Franklin Covey, calendar - to keep up with my super, busy schedule.
And last, but most important, Purell - to get those germies off!

(I just noticed, I have a lot of PINK in my purse!)

Here is another pic of Frank & I at the COLTS game. I took this on my cell phone....

And a pic of Frank & Gene - our very good friend that is serving in Afghanistan. Frank & Gene have know each other since basic training. We had the opportunity to have dinner with him & his fiance', KIM, while he was home for his 2 weeks R&R. I know the picture sucks, but again, taken from my cell phone....

*On another note, I got a new computer. It's super cool & so much faster than the old one. It was time for an update. However, I'm having issues with the scanner. I have not been able to get it running correctly.

*And on another note, my good friend, Nancye - is expecting her first GIRL!!! She & her husband have 3 boys and she just found out that she is having a sweet, baby girl. Due in January - they will name her Mary Beth. I'm super happy for her & her family. Congrats, Taylor family!

Ciao!

COLTS vs SEAHAWKS

We took our Jr.Tackle Football Team (CUBS) and their families to see the Colts in action! The kids had a blast, as did we watching them! One of the boys said "This is the best day of my whole life!" Yes, I cried. There was 52 of us Cubbers! What an awesome trip for us and the boys!

Coach Ben, Trei, Justin (Frank's brother), me, and Frank.

Ok, so they didn't win...thanks to Sorgi...however we had a great time and it's only pre-season!

Go Colts!
#44 - you rock! :)

Just a regular day...

Here I am...sitting in my cube at work. Waiting for 4:30 to roll around.

Then, after a long day at work...I'm finally home.
I've been in training all day, and I'm totally worn out.

However...I'm off again to football practice & dinner tonight w/Gene & Kim.
Gene is here on R&R from Afghanistan. We are heading to Longhorn Steakhouse in Frankfort. I'm sure I'll post some pics of our adventure tomorrow!
Have a great evening & have some FUN!
XOXO

Shawn & Scott Mouser gettin' cozy at BBC!
Shawn - Love your new hair style & color! :)
Me, Shawn, & Rebecca hangin' out!

Here are some fun pics from last night....we had a blast! :)

Jen, Scott (in back), Shawn, & Rebecca hangin' out in the back of our truck at Starlight Frozen Custard in Louisville. I had Key Lime ice-cream or concrete! It was very thinck and rich...I had about 5 bites and I was done, however it was super yummy and very refreshing.

Like my new hat? (ARBY's)

It's ok to be silly - have fun - and enjoy life every now & then...or all the time actually.

Enjoy your weekend!

Quirky Day

Ever have a quirky day?
You get up and head to work - already thinking of what you want to do Friday night?!?

It's too early for a picture, but wanted to capture the moment with my camera phone.

Tired, Grumpy, Aggervated, Moody Morning....

Listened to my new CD's, had a few meetings, met some outside sales people, ate some Twizzlers, pay day, surfed the web, looked through my status reports, checked on some material that was out of spec - fun stuff, no less - I tell ya..., then went to lunch at a Sushi bar to celebrate Tim's birthday!!!

And by 3PM - I'm feelin' frisky, quirky, and ready to ROCK home...

Well after a looooong decision we've finally decided to go out tonight to BBC in St.Matthews! I've heard nothing but good reviews, so we'll see!

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! :)
Ciao!

***On a side note: I had fun with the girls last night! Luv ya!

I am a Brat...a Military Brat!

As most of you know...I am a military brat!

I say that with pride and with freedom that rings deep in my heart. I am who I am, because I am a military brat. I have been many places, met many people, and experienced many things. I always said "I'd NEVER marry anyone in the service!" And look what I did - and thank goodness I did just that! I've just recently found 2 of those people that have molded me to the kind of friend that I am today. My sweet friend, Leann (Liliana) and my best bud, John! No matter where we go in life or where we have been we always come full circle. Thank you...

Anyway--my point is that we all have experiences in life that make us who we are. Whether we lived on the same block our whole life or moved every 3 years, we all have those life experiences that truly inspire and mold us to who we are today.

Here is a great way to show our troops we care....
If you go to the web site http://www.letssaythanks.com/ you can pickout a thank you card and Xerox will print it and it will be sent to asoldier that is currently serving in Iraq. You can't pick out who getsit, but it will go to some member of the armed services. It is FREEand it only takes a second.
Wouldn't it be wonderful if the soldiers received a bunch of these?

And is this not the BEST SHOW EVER!?! Miami Ink...Love it!!! I know this is pretty random, but the new episode is coming on...gotta run! Someday, I'm going to get up the nerve to let Ami give me a tattoo! :)

Camping Greatness!

Tell me we have style and class! Tell me we are high-maintenance. These were from a small camping trip we took this Spring with our friends! We had a blast!

The guys were not going to let the campfire die down in the rain so they stayed out in the rain to make sure of it...while us girls went in the camper and played "Catch Phrase." I had to eat my cereal with a fork because we forgot spoons, but it worked just the same.

The camper's shower did not work, and it blew/shredded a tire coming home, but we still know how to have fun! Thanks guys for a great time!

Music that Rocks

I think this totally ROCKS!

When I was growning up....I was a Def Leppard fan. Not to mention Motley Crue, Poison, Skid Row, and Guns & Roses.

I can't wait to get my hands on this new CD from DL! It has all the classic rock songs from the 60's & 70's including, ROCK ON!

I've come a long way since the Metal-Head stage, however a good rock-n-roll song is never far away from my CD player.

Now some of my favorite rock artists include: Big Daddy Weave, Pillar, Third Day, Creed, Dave Matthews Band... I listen to everything now from rap, to rock, to R&B -- Music is my drug!

Celebrity Sighting

I work for an awesome company...we process steel. I'm a purchasing analyst. I buy steel. Not what I would have EVER thought that I could or would want to do...however, it's very interesting and the company that I work for is sooo cool. We have huge parties, go bowling, have picnics, go to the zoo, golf scrambles, and skeet shoots, and amusement parks! Now, listen when I tell you that a picnic is not your norm - I'm talking catered, DJ & dance floor, characters, balloon animals, crafts, snow-cones...they go all out! I'm so happy to be a part of this company - it's a total blast! Well, not a TOTAL blast, but I enjoy going to work.

Ok - so where am I going with this?!? On paydays, we have a local celebrity check-passer-outers. I've meet the mayor, and the local cookie lady, Pat Day (the famous jockey)...

....and now I've met Heather French-Henry AKA Miss America 2000 AKA Miss Kentucky!

I mean how cool is that...she is super sweet and I was so happy to meet her in my small cube! :) She is a spokeswoman for our veteran's and that really hit home with me. Thanks Heather for all the hard work you do!
